REWIND: The Great QB Dilemma
This week's podcast takes us back to 1996, when the Steelers faced a dilemma at the QB position after their Super Bowl starter headed into free agency. They had to choose between signing or drafting a QB, paying the one they had, or choosing from the three other QB's on the roster. We'll go into the details around that decision and talk about how it ultimately played out, plus we will draw comparisons to the decision the team would face 26 years later when Ben Roethlisberger retired.
